Tamil Mandram at KARE to celebrate Teachersโ Day with warmth, gratitude, and cultural pride. This celebration is dedicated to appreciating the invaluable contributions of our faculty members.

MAHATHMA
At KARE, Tamil Mandram celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi not just as a tribute to the Father of the Nation, but as a meaningful cultural experience.
๐น On this day, we organize a traditional tour for students to visit nearby villages, heritage sites, or culturally significant locations that reflect Gandhian values and Tamil traditions.
๐น Students engage in cleanliness drives, interact with local communities, and participate in cultural activities that promote simplicity, self-reliance, and social harmony.
๐น The tour fosters awareness about Gandhiโs principles, encourages community bonding, and gives students a chance to reconnect with rural roots and Tamil cultural identity.
ROWTHIRAM
At KARE, Tamil Mandram organizes Bharathiyar Vizha to celebrate the life, legacy, and literary brilliance of Mahakavi Subramania Bharathiyar, one of Tamil Naduโs greatest poets and freedom fighters.
๐น The event features recitations of Bharathiyarโs fiery poems on freedom, women empowerment, equality, and nationalism, bringing his words to life for the younger generation.
๐น Students participate in speech competitions, themed skits, kavithai recitals, and musical performances based on Bharathi’s works.
๐น The celebration encourages students to reflect on Bharathiyar’s vision for a just, progressive, and united India while promoting pride in Tamil literature and identity.
PAAVAI VIZHA
At KARE, Tamil Mandram organizes Aandaal Vizha to honor the legacy of Sri Aandaal, the only female Alwar and a symbol of devotion, purity, and Tamil literary brilliance.
๐น The event includes recitations of Thiruppavai, devotional songs composed by Aandaal that reflect divine love and spiritual awakening.
๐น Students perform classical dances, storytelling, and poetry readings that celebrate Aandaalโs contributions to Tamil Bhakti literature.

PONGAL
Tamil Mandram at KARE organizes Pongal Vizha every year with vibrant traditions, colorful attire, and cultural pride to honor Tamil Naduโs harvest festival.
๐น The campus comes alive with traditional decorations, kolams, and sugarcane stalls, creating a festive village-like atmosphere.
๐น Events include uriyadi (pot-breaking), tug of war, pongal-making competitions, folk dances, and paraiattam that showcase Tamil rural culture.

TAMIZHI
Tamil Mandram at KARE proudly celebrates Tamizhi on World Mother Tongue Day to honor the richness, elegance, and global significance of the Tamil language.
